Compose and play a Museum!

Come and try composing in Ainola. Composition workshops are aimed at people of all ages - everyone can learn to compose by experimenting and practicing, and composing can be fun and playful. In the workshops, you get to know Ainola in a new way as the home of the Jean and Aino Sibelius family and a place of creative activity. How does the family home of Jean and Aino Sibelius sound? How do different colors sound? Are there different sounds in everyday life than at a party? Do spruce and birch ring?

Composition workshops do not necessarily require a common language between the group. In the workshops, the participants first explore the museum building and/or area under the guidance of the instructor and then make a joint composition. At the end of the workshop, the group plays their composition together.

The workshops do not require playing skills or previous experience in studying music.
