Located at an historical villa by the Tuusulanjärvi lake, the musem exhibits the work of the largest women's voluntary national defence organization in the world during war and peace.
The Lotta-Svärd organization was the largest women's voluntary national defence organization in the world. The new exhibition of the museum "The Story of Lotta" exhibits the work of the Finnish lottas during war and peace. You can follow the Lottas on their assignment or to their daily work using the interactive multimedia at the exhibition. Multimedia games for the children.
Life at Syväranta Exhibition takes the visitor to the life of national romantic era when Syväranta was the only villa in Tuusula with electricity and formal garden with exotic animals.

Guided tours
The Lotta Museum offers an introductory video, which covers all of the major themes of the main exhibition, Lotta Svärd – 100 Years of Societal Responsibility.
The introductory video must be booked in advance. The payment is 20 € + entrance fee (per person).
