The airstrip in Degerby

Immidiately when the Porkkala area was handed back on 26.01.1956 the Finnish defence forces inaugurated a primary evaluation of the area, in Degerby there was found an area that seemingly had been jused as an airstrip.
The coordinates lead us to an area directly to the west of the Torbacka river in the absolute vicinity of the coast. On a closer question the landowner could certify that there had been an airstrip, drained by concrete tubes. Soviet bombed the strip before they left.
