Work and Artist: Art from Home artists Tuomo Elis and Niina Vehmaa

On April 4th, Tuomo Elis and Niina Vehmaa will be interviewed about the Art from Homes exhibition. Both artists are members of the Taidesaari association, which operates on Varassaari in Vaajakoski.

After the interview, at 3 PM, attendees can enjoy a cup of something warm.
The event, held in the lobby of the art museum, is free of charge.

Art from Home showcases, for the first time, the most cherished art treasures from homes in Central Finland. The exhibition features family heirlooms, artworks that have accompanied their owners through life's joys and sorrows, as well as pieces created by the owners themselves or acquired from professional artists. The stories and memories behind the artworks, as told by their owners, are also highlighted. A panel of volunteers selected the pieces from 240 submissions.
