Senior Curator Tiina Koivulahti presents an exhibition featuring primarily old Finnish art juxtaposed with select contemporary works.

Participation is included with the admission fee or the Museum Card; free entry for those under 24.

The Timeless Beauty exhibition showcases works by beloved Finnish artists from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, offering viewers a window into the era's portrayal of women as models and muses, as well as the rise of female artists. Highlights include renowned paintings by Helene Schjerfbeck and Albert Edelfelt, typically displayed only at Jyväskylä City Hall. The exhibition also features select contemporary artworks.

Timeless Beauty is on display at the Jyväskylä Art Museum from February 7 to April 27, 2025.
