The permanent exhibition
The Teresia and Rafael Lönnström Home Museum, Rauma
- 1.7.2020–31.12.2026
The Teresia and Rafael Lönnström Home Museum showcases the unique home and art collection of the industrialist couple from Rauma.
The industrial couple Teresia and Rafael Lönnström were lovers of culture and art. They filled their home with a notable collection of silver and porcelain, art glass, and fine art and sculpture. The original atmosphere of this elegant home has been preserved now that it is open to the public - the antique furniture, works of art, and the other house furnishings still stand in the places where Teresia Lönnström liked them to be.
The main body of the art collection consists of Finnish paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries. Artists represented in the collection include Elin Danielson-Gambogi, Berndt Lindholm, Hjalmar Munsterhjelm, Victor Westerholm, Victoria Åberg, Ferdinand von Wright and Pekka Halonen.
