The Lönnström Art Museum

Lönnström Projects is a series of ambitious contemporary art projects that the museum implements in collaboration with artists working in Finland. The idea is to realise visionary works of art that might be impossible to produce in the course of an artist’s ordinary work.

Lönnström Projects are surprising and unique works of art born of bold artist’s ideas. A Lönnström Project can be a permanent work of art, but it can also be something evolving or ephemeral. Lönnström Project artists are selected annually in an open call for proposals.
