The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas, Tampere

Sulzer steam engine that used to produce power for the Finlayson mill can still be seen in its original location.
This giant machine was taken into use in 1900 and remains the biggest steam engine ever used in Finland. Its output was 1,650 horse power and the flywheel has an impressive diameter of more than 8 metres.
