Timeless Beauty, Gallery February 7th–April 27th, 2025

Works by beloved Finnish artists from the late 19th and early 20th centuries open a window to the female image of the era as a model and muse, as well as the rise of female artists. Highlights of the exhibition include, among others: Famous paintings by Helene Schjerfbeck and Albert Edelfelt, which are usually only on display at Jyväskylä City Hall. Alongside the exhibition are a few works of contemporary art.

The exhibition is curated by Tiina Koivulahti, curator of research at the Art Museum.
