Free Admission Saturday at Sinkka

Free admission to Sinkka’s Arte Povera Poetica exhibition on Saturday, August 1st. The museum is open from 11 am to 5 pm.

Arte Povera Poetica presents a group of artists who transform found objects into captivating visual poems. The exhibition takes its name from an Italian art movement that sought to blur the boundaries between art and life. The artists embraced everyday materials and created fascinating object assemblages.

In addition to the main exhibition, visitors can explore new Sinkka’s Drawing Office, that preserves, manages and showcases archival collections related to the Orno lighting factory and the Keravan Puusepäntehdas, furniture makes factory. Selected artworks from the Rolando and Siv Pieraccini Art Collection are showcased in a mini exhibition at Helmipaikka - The Place of Gems.

Alongside the exhibitions, visitors can also try a virtual touch wall, enjoy treats from the small museum café, and browse the museum shop.
