Discover the history of Lapland from ancient times to modern days at the Rovaniemi Arktikum house.
The museum focuses on the natural habitat and cultural heritage of Lapland. The main exhibition tells of life under the northern conditions from prehistory to the present day. Ethnological, archeological and natural historical collections and photo archive. The museum is situated in the Artikum building together with the University of Lapland´s Arctic Centre.
