Welcome to Finlands oldest home museum of the national poet J.L. Runeberg.
The Finnish national poet, J. L. Runeberg (1804–1877), lived with his wife, Fredrika, in the house from 1852 until his death in 1877. The home of J.L. Runeberg is the oldest home museum in Finland and was opened for public in 1882.
