The story of the coastal city Loviisa known for its picturesque houses, ironworks and sea fort.
The Commandants house is a beautiful building from 1755. It has housed Loviisa town museum since 1962. The museum presents artisan guilds, seafaring, fortification building and baths of Loviisa. Of special interest is a pewter workshop from the 19th century with objects and molds from the 1700´s and 1800´s.

Guided tours
Guided tours by appointment, 40 euros. An additional fee of 40 euros/hour will be charged if the tour happens outside of our opening hours.
