Åland Museum
Storagatan 1,
22100 Mariehamn
The history of Åland Islands, the only autonomic region of Finland - from the first seal hunters, who set foot on these rocky islands, to the global and multicultural society of today.
With us you get to experience 7,500 years of Åland's history.
The Åland Cultural History Museum is the province's main museum for cultural history. Our permanent exhibition covers the time from the first inhabitants 7500 years ago to the present day.
We share space with the Åland Art Museum in the middle of Mariehamn, right next to the town square, and the entrance ticket is valid for both museums. Welcome!
