Non-fiction writer Arto Kivimäki takes a look at ancient heroes and heroines. The lecture is one of a series for the Classical Heroes exhibition.
Can heroes influence their own fate if it is already determined in advance? Do they have a choice? What did people in Antiquity think about fate and the gods? How do we know?
Arto Kivimäki is an award-winning non-fiction writer and translator specialising in the ancient world who has also written five books on ancient myths for children.
