Permanent exhibition at the Aviation Museum
Finnish Aviation Museum, Vantaa
- 1.1.2000–31.12.2028
Civil and military aviation as well as aviation as an hobby are presented in the Aviation Museum's permanent exhibition.
The permanent exhibition is displayed in two large exhibition hangars. Airplanes and other aircraft, as well as other aviation-related objects such as engines, propellers, and miniature models are on display. With the help of our information boards you can familiarize yourself with various topics of aviation history, such as the founding of the Finnish air force, Finnish airports through the ages, aviation authorities, aviation as an hobbu, Finnish airlines, and aircraft production. Did you know that the Finland was once a major aircraft manufacturer in Northern Europe, and especially valued as a designer and manufacturer of floats and skis?
