In 2014 remodeled part of the permanent exhibition. Hunting trophies from Africa, North America, Asia and Europe.
Jaakko Ojanperä´s collection includes trophies of some 100 different species and subspecies, all collected by Ojanperä himself during his hunting trips in Africa, Asia, North America and Europe. The eldest trophies in the collection are a goshawk and a black grouse from 1960 while the latest specimens (wolverine, black-tailed deer, brown hyena etc.) were collected in 2013. In addition to some 220 trophies the collection holds African bows and arrows, spears and sculptures as well as Ojanperä´s favourite guns.
