Children’s Summer Wednesday Workshop: Frottage workshop

Summer Wednesdays offer fun activities for summer vacationers.

In this workshop, you’ll learn about frottage—a rubbing technique where shapes are magically reproduced, often surprising the artist! The technique allows for both meticulous and more free-form approaches.

Tickets are €5 at the art museum (€4 with a Museum Card). Drop by the workshop whenever it suits you between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Children participate in events under the responsibility of a guardian, and preschoolers must always be accompanied by an adult.

Pori’s museums are hosting children’s workshops on various topics this summer. Workshops will be held at the Satakunta Museum, the Pori Art Museum, the Rosenlew Museum, and the Ark Nature Center during the first two weeks of June, and at the Toivo Building Culture Center from Midsummer until the end of July. Workshops at the Pori Art Museum will also continue in July!

Workshops:
– At the Satakunta Museum on Tuesday, June 2 and June 9, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
– At the Pori Art Museum on Wednesday, June 3 and June 10, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, as well as
on Wednesdays, July 1, 8, 15, and 22, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. Please note the change in time.
– At the Arkki Nature Center on Thursdays, June 4 and 11, from 12:00–3:00 p.m.
– At the Rosenlew Museum on Friday, June 5, and June 12, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
– At the Toivo Building Culture Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting with the Midsummer workshop on Thursday, June 18, and continuing through Thursday, July 30.
