Noormarkku Club House 100 years
The exhibition presents the history of the Noormarkku Club house: an architectural competition from a hundred years ago, the opening ceremony and the different phases of the building and its users.
The Noormarkku Club house was built a hundred years ago as a meeting place especially for the officials of the A. Ahlström Corporation`s Head Office. Over the course of the century, associations have been established in the house, weddings and funerals have been held, and tasty meals have been feasted on.
The Club House has served as a meeting place for people for several generations, and it has played a significant role in creating a regional sense of community. Reaching the hundred-year milestone offers an opportunity to remember history as well as plan for the future.
