In the exhibition you can experience amazing art, fun posters and impressive Finnish design.
The exhibition explores the museum’s own collection – the museum’s own objects, posters and art works are the roots from which all of Malva’s activities grow.
The exhibition features a fictional furniture fair showcasing perspectives on industrial design from the 1950s to the 1970s. The posters shed light on the history of Finland and Lahti. Publicly esteemed art treasures, inherited from the collections of the Vyborg Art Museum, illuminate Finnish and foreign painting and sculptural art of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The architect and designer of the exhibition is the award-winning Lahti-based designer Tapio Anttila.
