Kuopio Media Art Festival

During the Kuopio Media Art Festival, KUMMA, GalleriA, and Galleria Ars Libera will be filled with lights, sounds, installations, videos, animations, and interactive works that stimulate the senses and challenge viewers to see things differently. The festival will also be visible and experienced at locations throughout the city, including Kuntolaakso, Luola, Matkus, Kulttuuriareena 44, and Kino Kuvakukko. Events and workshops invite you to explore and try things out for yourself.

The Kuopio Media Art Festival is organized in collaboration the Kuopio Artists’ Association – Ars Libera, the Artists’ Association MUU ry, and the Photography and Media Art Association Valmed ry. The Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation has supported the festival through its Kummimuseo funding.
