Guided tour: The Pool – ”The Story” The Origin of Pool Skateboarding

The guided tour will discuss the design of the swimming pool at Villa Mairea by Alvar Aalto and its influence on international skateboarding culture in the “From the Surf to the Sidewalk” exhibition.
You will also learn about the summer exhibition, featuring the “Colors” exhibition by Finnish-American professional skateboarder Lizzie Armanto and the “Concrete Currents” exhibition by professional skateboarder and photographer Arto Saari.
The guided tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and is conducted in English.
The cost of the tour is the Aalto2 admission fee plus an 8€ guiding fee.
