100 years of Finnish electronics history! Get to know and test different devices from the company that developed the first Nokia mobile phone.
Experience the Glamour of old telephones, radios, monitors and televisions.
The Made in Salo exhibition sheds light on the development and transformation of communications, related devices and the electronics industry from the end of the 1920s to the modern day. Large domesticc and international companies have operated in Salo, such as Salora, Mobira, Nokia, Benefon, Salcomp. The Museum showcases equipment designed and manufactured by these comapanies for over 90 years. The museum also displays devices by newer Salo based elecctronics companies and smart applications developed in Salo such as medicne dispensers by Evondos and batteries by Micropower.
