Encounters Through Stories – A Discussion Guide for Senior Citizens’ Week

During the Alvar Aalto Museum’s discussion-based guided tour, participants will explore the stories featured in the exhibition 13 Stories about Humane Design through shared conversation and reflection.

Author Sanna Puutonen has created 13 fictional stories inspired by Alvar Aalto’s buildings, some of which have been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the tour, participants will hear excerpts from these stories and discuss the thoughts and ideas they evoke.

The stories describe how different spaces are experienced, while drawings, photographs, and other objects from the museum’s collections have been selected to complement and enrich the narratives. Step into the world of stories!

The tour will be conducted in Finnish in the Gallery exhibition space at the Aalto2 Museum Centre and lasts approximately 45 minutes. The guided tour is included in the Aalto2 admission fee.
