Finnish National Fine Arts Day at Särestö

Särestöniemi museum celebrates Finnish National Fine Arts Day on Friday 10.7.2026!

Program of the day:

12:00 PM – Open thematic guided tour: "Time to Wake Up"

This public tour delves into Reidar’s relationship with nature and how it is reflected in his art.

2:00 PM – Unveiling of the Särestö community art piece

Throughout the Reidar100 anniversary year and the early part of 2026, visitors to Särestö had the opportunity to contribute to a community art project—now, the time has finally come to reveal the magnificent finished work!

Särestö’s open art competition

Participate in our open art competition throughout the day at the museum; the theme is the Särestö setting. We provide the art materials. Entries are accepted at the museum until 4:45 PM on Friday, and via email (info@sarestoniemenmuseo.fi) or phone (040 752 8895) until 11:00 PM. The winner receives a Särestö-themed prize!

In honor of Finnish National Fine Arts Day, the day's program is included in the admission price!

Family ticket: €42
(2 adults and 2 children)
