Nature photo exhibition by Mika Takanen

How often do we pass by familiar landscapes without noticing what is really happening around us? This exhibition takes the viewer on a journey into the nearby nature of Kirkkonummi and the Helsinki metropolitan area. Familiar forests, their inhabitants, and landscapes come to life through the photographer’s lens—they tell stories of genuine encounters and unique moments.

Each work is a story of a fleeting instant, the light of nature, and a connection with animals. The exhibition encourages each of us to pause and experience how local nature comes alive during the magical moments of sunrise and sunset.
