Sculpting After Sigrid af Forselles - Follow Enni Kalilainen’s work

Sigrid af Forselles was one of Finland’s first female sculptors. Several of af Forselles’ works are part of Loviisa city’s art collection, including a portrait of Marie Jouvray, who lived together with af Forselles during their years in Paris. In recent years, the public has rediscovered af Forselles’ art, and the portrait of Jouvray is currently exhibited in France.

During the exhibition of Looking for Us, Enni Kalilainen will be working on a new sculpture using the works of Sigrid af Forselles in the Lovisa Town Museum as models.
