The instrumental rock band The Potatoes, formed by native Tapiola residents, offers audiences not only classic hits but also their own gems. Expect go-go music, organ soul, groove, and expressive guitar work. This rhythm group, founded already in the 1980s, still performs in its original lineup: Mikko Lankinen (lead guitar), Antti Ahvenainen (electric organ), Hirkka Hirvonen (drums) and Kimmo Lehtola (electric bass).
The event takes place at KAMU WeeGee, inside the exhibition spaces of Feel the Noise - Rock and Youth Culture in Espoo. There is no access to other areas of the Exhibition Centre WeeGee during the event. Doors open at 19:30, the band starts playing at 20:00, and doors close at 21:30.
Alcoholic beverages will be served. Delicatessen WeeGee sells local craft brewery products during the event. The age limit for the event is 18.
Tickets must be purchased in advance via lippu.fi. A limited number of tickets are available, so be sure to act early!
