The Finnish Glass Museum, Riihimäki

  • 8.2.2025–11.5.2025

The exhibition presents crystal from Finnish homes and estates from the late 18th century to the present day.

The exhibition presents crystal from Finnish homes and estates from the late 18th century to the present day, featuring pieces by artists including Göran Hongell, Gunnel Nyman, Aimo Okkolin, Timo Sarpaneva, Nanny Still and Tapio Wirkkala.

The show takes visitors on a trip back in time with its delightful displays of heirloom crystal and 1930’s décor. The exhibition is a riot of colour experimentation.

The featured works are from major private collections, Finnish museum collections and the collection of the Finnish Glass Museum.

The exhibition is sponsored by the wallpaper manufacturer Pihlgren & Ritola.
