Intertwined worlds
Vantaa Art Museum Artsi, Vantaa
- 2.10.2024–2.3.2025
How to treasure nature in and around us? The exhibition Intertwined worlds takes us on an exploration of nature and ourselves.
The artworks in the exhibition explore nature through immersion, wonder, disappearance and adventure.
Invited artist Rebecca Louise Law and the artist duo IC-98 and Vantaa Art Museum's collection artists Satu Autero, Emma Helle and Kari Vehosalo bring through their artworks different perspectives to the theme of the exhibition.
Installation artist Rebecca Louise Law will create new site-specific installation for the exhibition. At Artsi's exhibition, British Rebecca Louise Law's art will be on display for the first time in Finland. Neighbouring communities of Artsi will contribute to Rebecca Louise Law's installation. The communities will collect material and conduct workshops to create the elements of the work. The large installation will include parts made by the communities.
The artists in the exhibition:
Satu Autero, Emma Helle, IC-98, Rebecca Louise Law, Kari Vehosalo
The exhibition is part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the City of Vantaa. The theme of the city’s anniversary is “At Home in Vantaa”.
