Dress code: sustainable - Goodbye fast fashion! is a mini-exhibition about the problems of textile use and recycling, but above all about the solutions that are currently being developed.
Textile waste has been used as a material (for walls, carpets, etc.) in the exhibition. Above the exhibition is an installation of 85 hangers. It is estimated that in a four-season country like Finland, you can get by comfortably with 85 garments.
Aalto University students are organizing workshops related to the exhibition on weekday evenings during the Summer (10.6.-16.8.). In the workshops you will learn what happens when a garment can no longer be used for its original purpose.
