The exhibition Altered by War presents wartime Information Company drawings, trench art and other artworks from the the Military Museum´s collections.
The exhibition approaches the Finnish wartime reality through five different themes: Nature, Battles, Friendship, Everyday life and Home. The exhibition leads you to ponder the subject and experience the feelings of grief and fear that people in the past suffered in such inhumane conditions, but also the astonishing ability of people to maintain hope in the midst of all-encompassing destruction.
