The themed exhibition deals with consumer advice related to electricity from the 1960s to the present day.
The themed exhibition deals with consumer advice related to electricity and new electrical household appliances from the 1960s to the present day. In the exhibition, the role and tasks of household technician Irmeli Leppäkoski as the first household advisor of Southwest Finland electricity Ltd will be revealed. The perspective is also aimed at consumers who were offered advice. The exhibition highlights the versatile ways of providing consumer advice through the decades, for example through magazines and trade fairs. On display are devices that were popular at different times and required advice, such as a microwave oven, an electric radiator and different types of lamps.
