Petri Kauppi's aviation art exhibition in the Aviation Museum's Avia cabinet.
Admission to the exhibition is free. The exhibition can be seen during the museum's opening hours, when there are no meeting reservations in the cabinet. If you wish, you can check the availability of the cabinet from customer service (asiakaspalvelu@ilmailumuseo.fi, (0)9 8700 870).
Petri Kauppi is a 51-year-old photographer from Järvenpää. Kauppi creates aviation-themed works from his own photographs, and he uses PhotoShop to match and edit the images. Some of the photos are taken of real aircraft at air shows or museums, some of very well built miniature models. Kauppi's artwork started after a plane crash in 2017, when he was "trapped" in bed for a long time and longed for something to do.
