In Silence – photography exhibition
Helsinki Observatory, Helsinki
- 20.1.2022–27.8.2022
Stand still before silence for a moment.
The exhibition will continue until 27 August 2022!
***************************
The works of the photography exhibition are mainly landscape photographs taken at dusk and in the dark, in which the night sky reveals views of the different dimensions of space. The photos have been taken in Finland and Iceland between 2018 and 2022. The exhibition includes 22 photographs and two video installations.
Tero Marin (M.A.) is a photographer of silence. He has held several silence-themed photography exhibitions over the past seven years. His photographs have been published, for example, in Tähdet ja Avaruus (Stars ans Space) magazine. In the spring of 2021 Kamera (Camera) magazine named Marin the photographer of the month. The present exhibition is an artistic production relating to his Doctor of Arts dissertation. Marin works as a senior lecturer of digital design in Metropolia UAS.
