Coast Guard Museum

Open in its current form until 8 December 2024. The renewed exhibition will open in April 2025.
The Coast Guard Museum, built in cooperation between the Kymenlaakso Museum and the Finnish Border Guard, sheds light on the work of coast guards from the 1930s to the present day. The Coast Guard Museum exhibits, among other things, the Beaver and Sääski surveillance aircraft, which controlled borders from the air, and the VMV 11 patrol boat, also called Vemma. Visitors can test their own sea rescue skills in a simulator.
