This summer, the gallery floor of the main building is exhibiting the unique evening gowns and paintings of Jukka Rintala (born 1952), who has been influencing Finnish fashion for more than four decades.
The Summer Dreams exhibit by fashion artist Jukka Rintala and visualist Matti Vaskelainen takes the visitors into the enchanted world of evening gowns that have shone on catwalks and at the President of Finland’s Independence Day Receptions.
Alongside the unforgettable dresses, the exhibit also shows Rintala’s fairytale paintings and drawings. Jukka Rintala’s sensitive hand and strong lines capture fleeting moments of beauty all around the exhibit.
