Every Wednesday in July, you can take a guided tour of the museum's exhibitions at the Paimio Electricity Museum for the price of the admission fee.
A guided tour of the Electricity Museum allows you to delve deeper into the museum's contents with a guide. The tours introduce you to the history of the building and the museum's permanent exhibitions. However, the focus is on this summer's theme exhibition Askala Hydropower Plant 90 Years, which presents the eventful history of the Askala Hydropower Plant and the nature surrounding the powerplant. The powerplant is located along the Paimionjoki River.
On the other side of the road you will also find the Miila Handicraft Museum, where tours start every Wednesday in July at 1 pm, meaning you can attend both tours consecutively with a joint ticket for the museums.
