April Little Ones' Morning 10 April 2026

April is a month of reading! April Little Ones’ Morning will take place on 10 April 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm. During the morning, we will dive into the enchanting world of words and rhymes and explore different shapes. The programme is included in the admission ticket. Welcome!

POETRY SESSIONS AT 9:15. 10:15 AND 11:15

The poetry sessions are designed for babies and toddlers together with their own adult. During the sessions, we explore the joyful world of rhymes through play, joy and interactive methods.

Babies enjoy rhythmic rhymes, the sounds of language and playful interaction, which research shows support brain development. Through rhymes and poems, they also gain their first literary experiences.

The sessions are led by staff from Tapiola Library and last approximately 20 minutes. The activity is intended for babies aged around 4–12 months together with their parents.

Please note: Each session can accommodate a maximum of 12 adult–child pairs. Places are allocated in order of arrival at the museum ticket desk.

POP-UP LIBRARY 9 AM - 12 PM

Throughout the morning, a pop-up point by Tapiola Library will be available, offering books suitable for families with children. You can borrow books, check that your library card is working, or get a new card.

WORLD OF SHAPES - PLAY POINT 9 AM - 12 PM

At the play point designed for the youngest members of the family, we explore different shapes using play equipment and our own bodies. The play point operates on a drop-in basis together with an accompanying adult.
