The Hotel and Restaurant Museum celebrates Multilingual Month from Feb 21 to March 21, 2026.
We are offering free guided tours of the Taste Matters exhibition. The tours are suitable for anyone interested in exploring the history and present of Finnish food culture. The Taste Matters exhibition examines food and drink culture from many different perspectives. We reflect on what it is, where it comes from, and what influences it. They say you can’t argue about taste—but it’s certainly worth discussing!

What is Multilingual Month? Multilingual Month (Satakielikuukausi) is a celebration of mother tongues and linguistic diversity. Multilingual Month has been celebrated in Finland since 2015. The event is coordinated by the Multilingual Library in cooperation with the Culture for All service.
Free admission, no registration required.
