A part of Sibelius Museum’s vast instrument collection is displayed in the instrument exhibition.
This exhibition presents the history of sound reproduction and recordings from Thomas Edison to streaming.
Sibelius Museum’s underground exhibition room, called the Organ Hall, exhibits keyboard instruments. The exhibition features – in addition to organs – a rare keyed monochord and a grand piano that once belonged to the 19th century author, poet and historian Zachris Topelius.
