Visions of Alvar Aalto brings the Aaltos' legacy to life through a multi-sensory experience that weaves together light, nature, functionality, and human relationships.

Opened at Finlandia Hall in June 2025, this permanent exhibition takes visitors on an inspiring journey to the sources of creativity of Alvar, Aino, and Elissa Aalto, while exploring the very essence of Finnish identity.
Through a compelling narrative approach, the exhibition presents an unprecedented story of creativity, Finnishness, and humanity, drawing on the lives and works of the Aaltos, key moments in Finland’s history, and the Finnish relationship with nature and forests. The exhibition offers fresh perspectives on the Aaltos’ achievements and their influence on Finnish architecture, design, and international networks.
