The program of the Kunsthalle Seinäjoki includes contemporary art exhibitions, public art and a diverse program of activities. Kunsthalle is located in the art and culture center Kalevan Navetta in Itikanmäki, Seinäjoki. Kalevan Navetta brings contemporary art, music, crafts, design, food culture and events under the same roof. The history of the building dates back to the end of 19th Century. It was built as a cow house but it never actually operated as one. The building and its' unique architecture is an experience on it's own.
The Kunsthalle has two exhibition spaces. The rough Halli - "The Hall" - carries memories from the time when the building served as a warehouse for the military. The beautiful Vintti - "The Attic" - with its high ceiling and the big round window is breathtaking.

Guided tours
Guided tours in exhibitions and in the art and culture centre Kalevan Navetta can be booked from Monday to Friday from 8 pm to 5 pm for 40 €/group (max 25 pax), after 17 pm and on weekends for 70 €. Bookings with the producer for public programmes, tel. +358447541779.
Workshops
The Kunsthalle organises art workshops for children and families with children on a regular basis and a wide range of other programmes for all ages.
