The oldest building in Lappeenranta houses stories of the Finnish cavalry both in war and peace, from the 14th century to modern days.
The museum, built in 1772, is the town´s oldest building and used to serve as the garrison guardroom. The museum describes the history of the Finnish Cavalry.The uniforms, weapons and documents tell their story about military service.
