A Concert on Jean Sibelius Birthday at Ainola

The traditional Jean Sibelius birthday concert will be held in Ainola in honor of the Finnish Music Day on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. The program includes solo songs and piano solo works by Jean Sibelius, performed by Hanna Hasu, soprano and Kia Nordlund, piano, Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts.

Tickets via lippu.fi, no ticket sales at the door. The duration of the concert is about 60 minutes, no intermission. The gate to the museum area will be closed when the concert starts, no latecomers inside, so please arrive on time. Doors at 3:45 p.m. It is cool in the museum building during the winter, so you should dress warmly for the concert.

The museum area is open on Sunday 8 December from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The path to the grave of Jean and Aino Sibelius is lit with lanterns. Walking in the area at your own risk. Please take the weather conditions into account.
