Beautiful aesthetics and mysticism in feudal Japan.
Härkälä's Japanese exhibitions consist of several collections united by highly refined craftsmanship.
The exhibition includes several handmade samurai armors, tsubas, incense burners, sculptures, pots, tea ceremony utensils, lacquer work, kimonos, mirrors, hair ornaments, inros, netsukes, ojimes and antique dolls.
In addition, woodblock prints by famous Japanese woodblock artists such as Hiroshige are on display.
