Pink Twins: The Transient

The Transient (2022) pictures different garden plants and their seemingly uncontrolled but algorithmically regulated rhythm of growth.
It combines the equal presence of method and chance associated with growth, present both in garden design and often also in art making. The video’s perspective on plants simultaneously enchants with their beauty and overwhelm with their exponential multiplication.
This exhibition is supported by the Finnish Heritage Agency.
