Überhund – the Fascinating Dogs of Art

"A dog is a man's best friend" is propably one of the most famous sayings in the world. Throughout our life together, the dog has served not only as a human companion and colleague, but also as a muse and inspiration for our actions. Überhund brings dogs out from underneath their jobs and roles, into the spotlight and the main focus. The exhibition is the largest collection of art depicting dogs that has ever been seen in Finland and is curated by Susanna Luojus, Director of the Salo Art Museum. The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Salo, Kouvola, Kuopio and Mikkeli Art Museums.
