The museum, located in the building voted most beautiful in the city, is being renovated. Opening up to the public later.
The Lahti Historical Museum showcases the cultural history and everyday life of Lahti and Päijät-Häme from the post-ice age era to the present day. The museum is housed in the former Lahti Manor, where extensive functional renovations are underway. The museum is closed for renovation and will reopen to the public on June 6, 2024, with two new exhibitions.
