At the Kymenlaakso Museum’s Never Never Town exhibition, Kotka cityscape and local identity come to life through shared play and activities, exciting the imagination and creativity of the whole family.
The central themes of the Never Never Town exhibition include cultural environments, cityscapes and architecture shared between different generations as well as cornerstones of daily life – from the playful perspective of children. Never Never Town offers plenty of room to play and experience and even the most mundane things may appear in a new light!
Above all, the exhibition is a place for meeting and gathering. Alongside a sense of history, it provides takeaways for the future, embedding sustainability into the themes of the exhibition. In Never Never Town, a future Kotka is built through play – a city that is equal, enabling, responsible and sustainable, even decades later.
